INTRODUCING THE
BEER LEAGUE CONCERT BAND
WHO WE ARE
The Beer League Band was started in 2017 by Lindsey Kemp and Darwin Krips. The formal name of the group is the "Back In The Band Music Society" as the sole purpose of this group is to get people back in band and making music together. Any age and any caliber is welcome! All we ask for is that you commit, take some risks, and have fun!

“I continued with band in high school at Spruce Grove Comp, adding jazz band and meandering through most brass instruments (I even did a bit of stand up bass). I joined the Beer League Concert Band at first because Karey and Cherish (My Wife and Daughter, who are also in the band) recommended it. I plan on staying with it because I love music and I relish every chance to be a part of it. Music is Life.”

A Family Affair>
“I was obsessed with the flute all throughout junior high and high school, even taking private lessons and playing in local competitions. However, once I entered university I no longer had the time or money to pursue music.
Marriage, 2 kids and a full time job followed university and the flute kept getting pushed to the back burner until I found out about beer league band. It has been amazing to play again after over 10 years. This band is a perfect fit!”
